Vacation Time At Your Business

The spring holidays are over and the next major holiday is Memorial Day which ushers in the start of summer for many.  Summer means vacations.  This may seem like the obvious but many companies don’t plan ahead for employee vacations.   Check your vacation policies.  Make sure they are up to date.  Inform all your employees that you want to get the vacation schedule finalized so they need to inform you of their first and second vacation choices for the summertime and rest of the year.  Set a deadline for vacation requests.  If you schedule now, you can avoid conflict later when everyone wants the same weekend or holiday off.  Don’t forget about your vacation.  You also need time to relax and recharge.
