The freedom to succeed is the dream of every CEO, president and business owner.
Today is Independence Day in the United States.
In 1776, our Founding Fathers put it all on the line when they signed the Declaration of Independence. They put their lives, their fortunes and the fate of this future great nation in their hands that day to give future generations, including us today, freedom. Including the freedom to succeed.
The Declaration of Independence gives us all certain inalienable rights and led our Founding Fathers to further defining the freedoms this country stands for including the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights.
As CEOs, presidents, business owners, founders and entrepreneurs, we all have ability and the right to freedom of thought. This is one of the key points that I guide business people on when working with them on an individual basis. The freedom to open your mind, to get clarity about the direction of your business and to see the infinite possibilities and opportunities with your business moving forward. It’s all there just waiting to happen because you have the freedom to do so.
The freedom to succeed begins with how you think. And how you act upon those thoughts.
No doubt it’s tough out there in the business world today. More challenging than ever. Especially if your goal is MORE success and MORE profit.
Don’t get caught up in what isn’t. Pay attention to what is.
Recognize the freedom to succeed that you have as you lead your company from wherever it is to wherever you want it to go. Be the dynamic business person that you are destined to be – especially at this time in our history as a nation.
Today, on this Independence Day that we celebrate as a nation, let’s acknowledge the freedoms we have as a people, but also as individuals. That’s what freedom to succeed is all about.
Tomorrow as you open the door to a new business day, allow yourself to be free of the worry and instead permit yourself the freedom to be creative, to be a leader, to be an inspiration to your employees and to manage whatever comes your way without being in fear, overwhelm or confusion.
Have faith in yourself as to how you run your company. Be optimistic no matter how hard that may be in the situations you come up against. Know that hard work will continue to pay off. Believe that you can reach your business goals – and even go far beyond them.
Historic national events may have reset and redefined how to do business throughout the years. The economy, because of the freedoms we enjoy, can be vibrant and disruptive all at that same time bringing innovation and change to business. But remember, you have the freedom to succeed however you define that for yourself and your company.
Just as our Founding Fathers put it all on the line, so too do you put it all on the line every day in your business.
Be in action! Make it happen!
Have a GREAT 4th of July!
To your success!
