Passion Drives Business Innovation

Listen to internet radio with Howard Lewinter on Blog Talk Radio

I sense the entrepreneurial spirit rebounding from the Great Recession. You can only keep a lid on entrepreneurs and business people for so long. Then they have to get moving again on striking deals, creating new products, starting new companies and being innovative. Doing what they were born to do. I believe it’s in the DNA.

It’s just how entrepreneurs and CEOs, presidents and business owners think. And one of the keys to business success is just that: how you think determines your success.

Think about why business people are successful. Is it about intelligence? Is it about having a particular skill? Is it because the company is well funded? The answer to all of those things is: It certainly helps. So, yes.

But it’s not the whole answer. If you really want to be successful in business and in life you have to find things that you are passionate about.

In your mind, think about some of the best concerts or any other type of stage performance you’ve attended over the years. They all have one thing in common: the people on stage are all passionate about what they do. No matter how simple or complex the performance, it’s still an innovative performance in some way or another.

Passion Drives Business Innovation.

This week on Talk Business With Howard my guest was Jon Ferrara, the CEO of Nimble and co-founder of Goldmine. Jon is an example of someone who is passionate about what he does and what he believes in. The platforms and companies he has created are proof he practices what he preaches when it comes to business, success and community. When Jon created Nimble in 2009, he had a vision about what was possible and filled a gap in the marketplace. A product that would help others to improve the way they do business.

Jon has a passion for making the world a better place and to see businesses grow.  He is an innovative thought leader. His passion drives business innovation. He is considered to be a pioneer in customer relationship management (CRM) – and Nimble is an example of innovation leading the way into the future of social business.

Take the time to listen to the discussion with Jon. The audio replay is located at the top of this blog post.

Jon and I talked this week about social media, social business, social selling and customer relationship management (CRM) plus how Nimble can improve the way you do business. As you listen to the replay of our business discussion it’s easy to note Jon’s passion for innovation… and business.

Think about what’s possible in your business. Be passionate. Be innovative.

Don’t let anything stop you. Allow success to happen.
