How do you get to where you want to be with your business?
Depends on… Where you are.
Before you know where you want to go, you need to think about where you have been.
You need to draw on all of your experiences – both your positive experiences and your negative experiences. And everything in between.
In most cases, business people get educated not by their success but by their failure.
Once you’ve determined where you’ve been, what made you successful and what caused you to fail, then you can start the process of thinking about where you want to go. And… what reason you want to go there.
Is it about ego? Is it about growth? Is about profit? Or is it about something else?
When you are considering your future plans, it can’t just be about ego, growth, profit, for example. It has to be about the well-being of your business, your co-workers, vendors, customers or clients as well as yourself.
Where you go is where they go. So it’s not just about you but about everyone around you.
And that’s how you get to where you want to be with your business.
