I consider myself a student of business.  The study of business is fascinating to me. 

I am not a corporate guy.  I have always been a supporter of the CEOs, presidents and business owners that run the millions of small businesses throughout the country.  I admire your will, drive and determination that makes your businesses successful. 

It’s small business that makes the economy work.  Over the last few decades it’s not big business that has created the jobs but it’s small business that creates the jobs.  With interest and concern I’ve been following the economic and political situation in this country.  I’ve been reading the business journals, various internet sites and watching cable news.  All of these experts have their opinion on whether the economic stimulus package will work.  And now the government is setting forth plans for the mortgage crisis and soon, the auto industry.  The consensus of the media business community is that the government action doesn’t really solve the economic problems which have caused the recession. 

I would be interested in hearing from the people I consider to be the real business experts: YOU, the CEOs, presidents and business owners, who every day create the jobs, work long hours and make our economy work. 

How do you feel about the government response to the recession?  Do you believe it will work or it won’t work?  If you do believe it will work, what parts will benefit you?  If you don’t believe it will work, what action will you take in your business to avoid economic disaster?
