In business, and I guess in life too, it’s very important to consider the past, present and the future.  If you don’t take this approach you could make the same mistakes over and over again.

We always want to start with the past.  We don’t want to live in the past.  But we do want to think back to all of the things that made us successful and we want to continue to do them.  We also want to look at the past mistakes we have made.  Analyze why we made them and make sure we never make them again.

The present is the now.  What’s happening right now in your business?  What do you need to do right now to keep your success going?  What’s your plan?  What goals have you set for yourself today?  And the future is what you want to have happen.  It’s a combination of what you learned from the past, what you are doing in the now, and what your wishes/dreams/goals are for the future of your business.

Take some time and think this all through.

Get a clear direction.

Then get in action and make it happen.
