I agree.  Bernanke is probably 100% correct.  The recovery “won’t feel terrific”.  It may actually be several years of economic turmoil and challenges before the economy returns to consistent prosperity and growth levels.

But if you hold on to the phrase, ‘the recovery won’t feel terrific’ then the recovery won’t feel terrific to you or be terrific to your business.  You may even sit back and absorb yourself in the doom and gloom of it all rather than believe you can push forward and find success.  But that won’t get you what you want which is reliable profit and growth.

Even in difficult economic times there is always business.  It’s definitely out there.  If your business isn’t what you would like it to be then something or even several things may need to change, including how your think about the different aspects of your business.  What are you going to change? How are you going to improve your sales and marketing?  How determined are you to succeed?  That’s a question you have to ask yourself.

Starting this very moment you need an attitude of success.  You will have to work harder, smarter and be ready for the business challenges that lie ahead.
